Here is his own wisdom to those in fornication:

8 Neither let us commit fornication , as some of them committed , and fell in one day three and twenty thousand. 9 Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted , and were destroyed of serpents. 10 Neither murmur ye , as some of them also murmured , and were destroyed of the destroyer. 11 Now all these things happened unto them for examples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come . 1 Cor. 10:8-11

Paul lets them know YHWH killed 23000 of his own people IN ONE DAY because of fornication! Thousands of his own people fell into this sin and Christ destroyed them for it. This was written FOR AN EXAMPLE TO US.

Paul did not exhort us to go seek a mental health Practicioner to help you. He did not say "now be REAL gentle about this you dont want to hurt someones itsy bitsy feelings".

Instead he warns Christ may DESTROY THEM in one day!

Friends if you believe the Apostle spoke the wisdom of God FLEE FORNICATION NOW.

We have an advocate with the Father even Jesus. If we cry out now, if we would judge ourselves we would not be judged.

If we believe the lie you have a long time to overcome we may wind up with a premature death or even worse cut off from Gods grace.
Michael, I see nothing wrong with your post.

Some of us were just meaning to communicate how much of a struggle it can be for some.

And this is what we are ALL saying. No one believes you can just merrily go on your way sinning.

Re: The Dangers of Sexting.

Compassion is important to forgive the offender.if dealt with at an early age the person can be fixed. However, to punish someone from early youth for all their life for a minor sex offense is dangerous.
My brother was never dealt with so he goes on his merry way.I have no contact with the jerk. My parents turned their head the other way.
When dealing with young people take into account what they did.If it is no contact forced councilling is a must. Pictures of offensive matrial should be counciled but not branded as a life time offender.
I believe in the 7 year statue of limitations for minor offenders.

Which is why what Micheal says typically falls on deaf ears. He goes on and on about a problem that typically does not exist.
