Why is it nobody wants to comment on the fact that the Islamic al-Mahdi is prophesied to do almost exactly what the biblical Antichrist will do.
In the wake of a third of the world being burned up...banks and technology will almost be useless. The world market will be crashed. The al-Mahdi will mark Muslim followers with a literal mark. If the al-Mahdi controls global oil, he'll control economy. Those who are not marked can be denied trade and barter. Also Islam has religious laws about business with unbelievers. Islam is entirely about subjugation in all areas of life.
Consider this...men who want to hasten the coming of the al-Mahdi are behind global Islamic terrorism. They even killed over three thousand Americans on 9-11. This isn't theoretical...it's already a very real war and people are already dying to thwart his followers.
While we postulate on the Antichrist being a lily white European banker who is a New Age tree hugger, this movement preparing for their al-Mahdi is actively trying to bring the world market to it's knees, killing our soldiers, and feverishly trying to gain nuclear weapons to vaporize the Washington D.C. and Televiv so they can claim the holy land and enthrone their al-Mahdi in Jerusalem on the Temple Mount.
Scary still, they have an ally in Iran...and they are very close to developing nuclear weapons. So close Obama had to talk the Israeli Prime Minister out of attacking Iran this week.
This isn't a theory. This isn't fiction. It's a reality that is now upon us.
