Sadly, no.

Does everything written in the Quran apply to Muslims today?

Does everything written in the Bible apply to Christians today?

Many Muslims are moderate and don't apply all Koranic passages literally

  2. The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

Hmm, been searching; having lots of trouble finding any Muslim EXOTIC dancers (a more precise truth = an infraction here, apparently)...
And the Qur'an I'm reading sez follow Christ or
get ready for hell, so...I find your post uninformed, at best,
where Islam is concerned, but this just confirms my fear
that Dordt's position on Muslims is a common one.
I expected better from you, frankly, being from a more
enlightened generation; our current position may be fully laid
at baby boomer's doorsteps, so I expect them to be
flopping around with clueless, defensive posts...?

"Politics and Islam are both of this world. Christianity is not."
Hmm, a brief look at the active threads in this forum
will put paid to that soon enough. Calling this obtuse would be kind.

Drug addiction or not... it's an individual's choice to do it. I know plenty of people who have had drug habits... pretty bad ones... and none turned to porn to make money.
So should all drugs be legalized and provided to patrons of any establishment who want to use them? Meaning talking about drug availability?

I am talking about the MAKERS of porn. Most of those women are likely on drugs.

True. But it's like "mob rule". We don't like it when the church, as a private entity, is challenged by a mob to embrace or do something we disagree with, for example gay marriage. Yet these Christians are teaming up with Muslims to tell another private entity how to run their business. I think it makes it sound like unless the hotels ban this stuff in their business the poor Christians and Muslims are just too weak to resist. lol Why don't they just NOT purchase adult entertainment? This is supposed to be a free country. If I don't want adult entertainment, I don't have to buy it. If I want adult entertainment, I have the right to buy it.
As point one, what the heck are you talking about? What does free speech, press, and privacy have to do with anything? We legislate morality, to say the government shouldn't is asinine. To point to limits or things they should not legislate doesn't change anything.

It is not like mob rule. This is not about free speech, or weak Christians. It is about letting a business know that they would prefer they not provide the smut in their rooms. Giving businesses incentives to do what is right is not mob rule.

Will they be successful? Doubtful. There is too much profit in it. The only way it will be successful is when it costs them more than they make.
