Re: School Shooting in CT

You did not get it.

Relax, take a deep breath and read it again and think about it:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

QUOTE:

The only answer to the darkness we see around us, and in the hearts and lives of people is Christ. But they don't want to hear that.

It was amazing to me to hear the President, the mayor of the town of Newton, and other people calling out and asking people to pray for the victims, and their families... yet, we are not allowed to pray in the very schools BEFORE this tragedy took place, but after the terrible damage has been done, it is time to pray?

Where is their logic, and their reasoning in this? There is none. Let's pray after the damage has been done, but whatever we do, we cannot allow prayer or God in the schools, but as soon as a tragedy occurs, everyone is praying ? I'm scratching my head over this madness.

Does anyone else see the ridiculous in this?

I am relaxed. I took a deep breath. The statement "we are not allowed to pray in the very schools BEFORE this tragedy took place" is still not true. And I'm still wondering what you and others think would have happened differently if people had prayed.

And, regarding this: "Well, Timmy, it's not what YOU think about prayers that counts", I haven't even mentioned what I think about prayer. I was asking what you think about it, and in specific, in regards to this incident. You and others write as if you have The Answer. You seem to think you know why it happened, and what would have happened differently if prayer had been "allowed" in school.
