I do agree with what you're saying, Bro Epley. If a man preaches against medical doctors, then he certainly should stay with what he's preached when it comes to his own health.
But this is the point at which I am having to search my own heart. Because I'm not sure if I think he should stay with that belief even if it leads to his death because I want to be spiteful. Because his teaching caused my friend to lose her life unnecessarily. Or do I think he should stay with that teaching even if it leads to his death because to do less would make him appear to be a hypocrit? Or is this one of those areas where I want to believe that the man taught this because he honestly believed it is what it takes to please God and if that's what he believes and his desire is to please the Lord, then by all means, I think he should do that?
I don't know - honestly. I can't tell you. To be really frank and transparent tho, there is a part of me that feels like if the man's preaching caused my friend to die, then he deserves no less. Sorry about seeming so hard hearted. Pray for this bit of anger in me.
