Much of your musings do not make sense. Such as the reference to a "little legal bind for you I will get any more attention."
As for I Israel, since you asked,
Rom 11:1 I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
Rom 11:2 God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying,
Rom 11:3 Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.
Rom 11:4 But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.
Rom 11:5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.

well, that was just one i ran across in my morning read in psalms--so then, we're gonna start arguing about whether Israel is blessed today, then, i guess...
A final reflection--that i was reluctant to post, but keep getting the unction on--that maybe also is not for the Rs:
I was out watering the yard yesterday, tryna bring my mom's yard back, as she has her house for sale. Well, my dad stops me, and says not to water until after sundown, as he heard somewhere that you lose up to 30% of the water to evaporation when the sun is up. So, i did what he said, put the hose away, even tho the yard was baking, and i'm in N Ft Myers, FL--meaning that 85% humidity is considered a crisp day here. Now, i'm not going to bother telling my 80 year old father that that was surely up to 30% water loss, say like for Phoenix or somewhere else ultra-low humidity; not because i'm not right, and not because the yard is dying for lack of a twice a day watering right now, but because he would not be able to hear me.
I don't know what God thinks of women in the ministry; but i do know that there are signs that we can look for--and R, i noticed you haven't mentioned how your attendance is lately, either.
Thorns do not bear figs, we are told, and if a ministry bears fruit, then how can we judge it? I think the word minister has been sorely stretched to death, if it requires some certificate from whoever to be acceptable, anyway.

Your unctions do not make sense either. Attendance is good, Ty, even though that doesn't have anything to do with the discussion. You can take your posts and direct them to somewhere since they do not make any sense, neither has any bearing on the discussion. I think I will take your advice and ignore, thx.

Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11
You are so predictable with your copy/paste jobs. LOL. I don't even think you read what people write, but just pick from your copy/paste job notes randomly. sigh.
You didn't even realize that I was speaking about the attitude of the Pharisees. Jesus never condemned them for doing the right things by obeying the law, but condemned them for adding more than was necessary, and for their attitudes.
It is far better to stand before the Lord in humbleness, humility, with some error in doctrine, rather than stand to before the Lord high, mighty, proud, and arrogant because of accomplishments, and perfect doctrines, and law-keeping, and be found wanting and lacking in His sight.
For if there is one thing that rings true throughout scripture is the fact that men make mistakes. Big mistakes. But the thing that always touches the heart of God is humility, and a contrite spirit.
From the mouth of Jesus, a parable that still speaks loud and clear today:
Luke 18:9-14
9 And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:
10 Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.
11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.
12 I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.
13 And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.
14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11
As far as I'm concerned, if a woman is under the spiritual authority of her elder (a male) and her husband (also male), she should be able to minister using whatever gift the good Lord gave her. And if this is wrong... so be it. We have to take a stand were we think something is humane and just. I've also noticed that the language of the Bible can often lend itself to broader interpretations than what was often held in the first two to three centuries of Christianity.
As we grow in the knowledge of various language and customs... our faith does evolve to some degree. I believe this is good, holy, and healthy. Think about it... there was a time when those born with serious deformities or psychological problems were condemned as being demon possessed. We've evolved in this area. Also, we've broadened our understanding of submission and modesty, as a result we don't force women to wear bonnets and scarves over their heads in gatherings. We have come to understand the principles of the Scriptures, the spirit of the Word, not the letter of the law.
The primary principles should be loving God with all our being... and demonstrating that love by loving others as ourselves. I'd rather error on the side of love and mutual respect than error on the side of legalistic hardness. I don't believe anyone will go to Hell for being too loving, too patient, or too understanding. So error on the side of love. Lean on your mercy in all things. You'll never regret the position you've taken if you do this.
I also believe in Apostolic Authority. In areas wherein the Scriptures are silent or unclear, we can always exercise this authority:
Matthew 16:19
I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”
Matthew 18:18
“Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.
John 20:23
Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.

LOL - The only thing I "copied/pasted" was the Bible - Of course, true to AFF form, such a Source would be scornfully relegated to mere "just pick from your copy/paste job notes" .

Ummm, watch how easy this is: Yes, I fully understood that you were referencing the attitudes of the Pharisees in correlating their attitude with RJR, Pliny & myself. You are now merely attempting to spin your way out of labeling us as modern-day Pharisees (so glad AFF Admin. is sooooo "non-bias" ).
In reality it is those who prefer their anti-biblical traditions over-against the clear commandments of God's Word whom qualify as modern-day "Pharisees" !

Ummm, I agree - but what on earth does this have to do with the clear biblical instructions we've been discussing in this thread ?

*Thankfully, that's not the case with the issue of "women-preachers" in the church - it is neither "silent" nor "unclear"....but rather speaks loud & clear !

There's nothing to "discuss" - there's no such thing according to the Bible (at least not in the sense that you attempt to force) .

Why are you discussing it?

Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11
Here is a list of translations of Psalms 68:11. One can certainly draw strength from. “The Lord giveth the word, the women that published the tiding are a great host” ( Psalm 68:11 ASV).
“The Lord gives the word (of power): the women who bear and publish (the news) are a great host” (Amp. Bible).
“The Lord proclaims good news, or the word, women bearing good news” (New English Bible).
“The Lord gives the word; women bear the glad tidings” [a Vast Army] (New American Bible).
“The Lord gave matter to the women to tell of the great army” (The Geneva Bible).
“The Lord gave the command and many women carried the news” (The Good News Bible).
“When the Lord sent news of victory, the women who told it were a mighty host” (James Moffatts Translation).
The word “publish” in Hebrew is “basar” (Strong’s 1319), which means “to announce (glad news); messenger, preach, publish and shewforth.”

Umm, you are the one who said that you are on a "ministers" forum & "discuss" so-called "women in the ministry" - not me. The Bible could not be plainer about the issue - despite your denial of the biblical texts .

LOL - This A-G-A-I-N?
Here's the full context (let's see if this is women "preaching from the Scriptures"):
68 Let God arise, let His enemies be scattered,
And let those who hate Him flee before Him.
2 As smoke is driven away, so drive them away;
As wax melts before the fire,
So let the wicked perish before God.
3 But let the righteous be glad; let them exult before God;
Yes, let them rejoice with gladness.
4 Sing to God, sing praises to His name;
Lift up a song for Him who rides through the deserts,
Whose name is the Lord, and exult before Him.
5 A father of the fatherless and a judge for the widows,
Is God in His holy habitation.
6 God makes a home for the lonely;
He leads out the prisoners into prosperity,
Only the rebellious dwell in a parched land.
7 O God, when You went forth before Your people,
When You marched through the wilderness, Selah.
8 The earth quaked;
The heavens also dropped rain at the presence of God;
Sinai itself quaked at the presence of God, the God of Israel.
9 You shed abroad a plentiful rain, O God;
You confirmed Your inheritance when it was parched.
10 Your creatures settled in it;
You provided in Your goodness for the poor, O God.
11 The Lord gives the command;
The women who proclaim the good tidings are a great host:
**Sorry Sis. - nothing here about women "preaching from the Word of God to men" (also, the word "good" before "tidings" is in italics indicating it is not a part of the original MSS) ??
What the women were "proclaiming" was: "9 You shed abroad a plentiful rain, O God; You confirmed Your inheritance when it was parched. 10 Your creatures settled in it; You provided in Your goodness for the poor, O God. 11 The Lord gives the command".
But keep regurgitating the same ol' biblical error Sis. - You've been doing it for years now .
