The last year my children attended public school was 1998.
We have gone through various phases of private school or homeschool, depending upon what we believed they needed at the moment.
I was a product of the public school system and a big proponent of them.
I believe now we should change the title for them and call it the "federal school system".
By the way, my two who have graduated scored 31 and 27 on the ACT.
The score of 27 was with a math score of 11, due to a medical and medication issue that prevented math concepts from "sticking".
Which God has now healed!
In spite of the doctors saying it was incurable and a lifelong condition!

There was a time when I think believers' kids could do good in public school by standing as a witness. I think that day may be gone.

The homosexual agenda is simply the victor in the public school system. I heard a song on the radio the other day of a girl singing to another girl about getting away and trying out lesbianism, and the urge "Don't tell your mom." Sickening beyond description!

And now public schools don't have to tell parents what they're teaching our kids. They made it their agenda to re-indoctrinate kids away from Christianity in the public schools. That's is part of their goal. I;m glad Texas and N Carolina stood up to the president against transgendered washrooms.

So do we! (we homeschool although) This is our first year with ABeka. We were doing our own thing before. I really like it.
We call it Private School at Home....hehe
