Absolutely. 100%. BUT, Roe v Wade was not the 'beginning', it was a symptom of a greater problem, that had begun much earlier. As Christians of all denominations etc began moving away from a Biblical worldview, and embracing modernism and liberalism, and as people began to no longer view the Word of God as something to actually LIVE by but as just a fairy tale to tell the kids on Sunday mornings, the nation of course began to embrace things that are contrary to the Word of God.
It was a series of incremental steps, but I do believe Roe v Wade was a high water mark in the downfall of this nation, definitely.
Canada just opened the door to legalised bestiality. I believe either Oregon or Washington state is making similar moves (again, incrementally, bit by bit). Things that were unheard of only 20 years ago are being passed off as 'mainstream'.
First of all, live for God, unashamedly. And that includes promoting the kingdom of God, and His righteousness. Christians are servants of a King. That King has laws, that govern His kingdom. We must stand for His decrees, regardless of what the world says.
We should also remember this warning:
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me:
seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
(
Hosea 4:6)
Get your kids out of the government indoctrination centers, teach them truth instead of humanistic antichristian lies and garbage. Preachers need to emphasise this to parents, the church needs to support and promote saving our children, and Christians need to return to God's ways and hold them up as the blueprint for all we do. Otherwise, if we turn away from God (regardless of our religious professions on Sunday) then our children will be lost.
Hosea 4:6 is being played out before our very eyes.
