I went to camp at Buckeye Lake. LOVE the ice cream parlor. It was a real "old fashioned" ice cream parlor. Mmmmm. When you went, Rhoni, did they have the "six inch rule"? Someone walked around with a six inch ruler and stuck it between boys and girls who were walking together to make sure that there was at least 6 inches between them at all times.
I also remember that we were not allowed down by the lake after dark. The story we were told was one about a group of boys who went down after dark one year even tho they knew better and how some actual demons chased them back to the tabernacle. I don't know if I ever believed that, but it was a good story.

I went to the Michigan Campgrounds with the Well's one year. I don't seem to remember that it was in Hillsdale tho. Am I wrong? I'm almost positive it's in Marshall.
The thing I remember about Michigan Camp was that people were shouting and yelling and dancing and running and carrying on right from the beginning. I must've looked stunned because Sis Well leaned over to me and said, "They don't act like this in Ohio, do they?" hehehe Boy, was she RIGHT!! LOL
