The problem some keep getting into is one of separating properly. Trinitarians are NOT Christians. A Christian will follow the teachings of Christ and the apostles. Now a lot of people don't like to hear that Apostolics are the only Christians, and I find it unfortunate that we have to call ourselves Apostolics and not simply Christians because of all the heresies and denominations that are around today that make the term "Christian" almost mean nothing to the outsider. Trinitarians are Trinitarians, Apostolics are Christians and the Church is ONLY made up of Christians. I would rather study at home than go to a Trinitarian "church" (and I use " 's because they are not the Church). Is a baptism there null and void? Well, I wouldn't go to the Hindu holy site of the River Ganges, during one of their festivals and baptize my child in JESUS' name. I mean, what fellowship does light have with darkness? Why can't people just see this clearly. We're not the same as Trinitarians, we shouldn't go to their churches and be members or "fellowship" with them, they are NOT the church.
And as for not wanting to go to a legalistic Apostolic church, I go to an indep church where a lot of the legalistic tendencies have been weeded out and whatnot, but when it comes to
Acts 2:38 we don't compromise, I am sure you could find a church like this somewhere...
GOD BLESS!
