You are correct. But I do not see scripturally where he will be coming to my defence packing guns.

Matt, nobody answered the question as to why the disciples were allowed to carry swords and why did Jesus state that if they didn't have a sword, to sell their cloak and buy one if He didn't believe that they should protect themselves?
