I don't know why but these "purse parties" are taking me back to remembering people "in church" who were watching bootleg copies of The Passion because they didn't want to sin by going to the theatre.

I didn't know what kind of party it was, I thought someone was selling "purses", not illegal ones! As soon as I saw the name brands I was shocked! Needless to say, she didn't get any of my money, and I knew the police were just gonna come barrelling through the door at any minute!
They didn't, but I lost a lot of respect for the host.
