I personally think God did that when he gave in to them and gave them a king.
He gave them king Saul.

Also in the wilderness when they longed for meat. Psalm 106:15 says He gave them their request but sent leanness into their soul. In Numbers chapter 11 He answered their request for meat by giving them quail until they got sick of it.

Because he'll do nothing for abortion and gay marriage. He'll offer tax cuts....but only big corporations will reap the benefits. They will then take that money and invest it...it's not going to trickle down. A McCain Presidency will simply continue the downward spiral we currently see until America is like Brazil. And as always....the mindless lemmings who vote Republican on wedge issues will be frustrated and arguing the same old tired arguments next election.
