For many of the kids, this will be their last season of playing any kind of football in their life. For others, the potential of a NFL career lies heavily in the ultimate success of a team. I've seen many kids have their stock rise dramatically based on their performance in a national championship game when everybody in America is watching.

Tstew I have thought about this post this weekend and finally decided to respond. I think the coach was right. Although I would love for my Tigers to be winning it is more important to me that the principal of right and wrong be adhered too.
A coach at some point and time has to draw a line and not cross over it, no matter the cost.
I think that is what is wrong with America today, we overlook to many things that are wrong because we want the win or more money, or whatever the case may be. JMO
