Well I'm not really up to snuff as to what happened in the Ryan Perriloux situation to comment, but it sure would've been alot more interesting of an SEC race with him playing for them.
he was pretty much an idiot. I understand the issue of wanting to place character above talent, but I don't think I would have made the move without solid backup or options. I think that it is unfair to the rest of the team who has worked hard and deserve their best shot at a national championship. For many of the kids, this will be their last season of playing any kind of football in their life. For others, the potential of a NFL career lies heavily in the ultimate success of a team. I've seen many kids have their stock rise dramatically based on their performance in a national championship game when everybody in America is watching.
