But, you need to know how to keep all the sub-commandments, and sub-sub-commandments and those rules that are close enough to a commandment which need to be kept because of their appearance to the original commandment (or sub-commandment or sub-sub-commandment). AND THEN IF there is no way to draw a line (convoluted or otherwise) from scripture to a commandment, then the "the pastor says" is will be the catch-all in these cases.

But don't ask me... Ask the man who I learned everything I know from:

Careful there. lol

Now, back to these sub commandments. Do you have them in handy tract format? I think I need one or two to carry around with me so I don't forget something important. Especially those pesky sub sub commandments.

Oh and I really need to let my pastor know he's doing this all wrong. He keeps telling me to look it up myself and tell him what I find in the Bible.

See what I mean???

Whatever happened to the good ol' days when we used to sit around and meditate?

You haven't been MEDITATING!!!!!

When are you boys gonna learn? You gotta meditate both day and night. Y'all haven't been meditating fifteen minutes and you're trying to uncover the mysteries of the parallel universes too.

Go back and meditate until you get a sub-sub commandment.

Re: Are you sure you're saved?

Somebody voted 0-49%. That's a broad category, but anything in that range is worse than a coin toss. Wow.

Brad, was that you? I should have made it a public poll.

You know brother, it is brother, right? If you're so easily swayed from the foundation you stand on, it may be best for you to avoid the wickedness that is AFF.

I've been thinking a lot lately.... Waiting for the Large Hadron Collider to become active again. Ever stay awake an night wondering about sub atomic theory (usually referred to as the Standard Model)? The math behind the theoretical Higgs-Boson particle is enough to cause migraines! But without it or something similar, we wouldn't have mass!

Oh, and the concept of a level 2 (or higher) multi-verse is an eye opener as well.

They'll have it cranked back up by this time next year and they will be colliding particles and blowing up the whole world with it.

Sounds like good advice.

With each post that I read, I get less sure of anything. I think I am a negative about 100% from zero since I started this.

Re: Are you sure you're saved?

I voted 100% sure, not out of haughtiness, but out of trust in the Grace of God for Him to finish the work He has begun in me.

Sometimes, I don't feel saved.

But if I lived by my feelings, I wouldn't be saved any way!
