Elaborate on your post. Don't just stand there and point a mocking finger or an "in your face" post. Elaborate. I started this thread asking honest questions as a mature individual. Those who have come here in good spirit and expressed their hearts have recieved my respect. You came here and threw up a one line "in your face" comment and then "demand a retraction" of the same ? Fine. 1 I did not post to you. it was in response to another's comment. They appreciated my post. next you come and accuse me of being a hater when there was none in it. i thojught name calling was not allowed here.

From the mouth is the heart. I call it like I see it, or you type it. I will retract when you give me a reason to.

Once again, I ask for maturity. The thread was started to be a mature discussion, not a childish party for ex-UPCers to jump around in glee yelling "we are free, we are free". In league sports that draws a penalty for unsportsman like conduct. If you want to start a "happy, happy, joy, joy" party thread then go for it. Otherwise, post something that can bless us with discussion or move on.

I am still giving you a chance to contribute to the discussion. I have stated more than once that I would gladly retract my statement if you would post something of substance. Something that says "Hey, I didnt just come here to gloat over another UPC thread"

I believe all of my discussion with each poster here should show that I am an understanding person who only wishes for serious fellowship.

I will even attempt to open to you again. Tell me Mr. Hawkman, what would you like to see changed about the UPC ?

for 1 the way people are treated. from my first post here I stated what seemed to be the feeling of the poster I respond to. It was right according to their response. then you call me a hater. an understanding person would not jump on somewon for that. I am not a hater and there was no hate in my post. I post as mature as you do if you can handle that. the UPC has a terrible track record of treating people and minsters bad. Read the posts talk to people. when you leave you are toast and a toad! you are no longer saved. that is what many think and the way they treat you.

NOTE TO ALL: I HEREBY RETRACT MY STATEMENT OF "HATER" TOWARD HAWKMAN, I HAVE MISTAKENLY TAKEN WHAT LITTLE HE POSTED AND CHARACTORIZED HIS PERSON. WITH MORE INFORMATION BEING KNOWN, MY ASSESMENT WAS WRONG. I APOLOGIZE.

MOW has also spoken of the UPC "reputation" and I posted in several places that the reputation is not all inclusive of all UPC churches. UPC history is much darker than the whole today. Many here have also admitted it has been awhile since they have graced a UPC church and others have admitted to attending some undesirable ones as well as pleasantly different ones. By your post I am assuming that you have been hurt and angered by your experience with the UPC. On behalf of the rest of us who have done you no harm, I apologize. I do hope and pray that God will give you peace, closure and victory over the bitterness.
