Are you kidding me? Of course I think the government is corrupt. I watch every Free Mason show on the History Channel (not saying I believe all of it, but some of it is believeable-ish). Bush instituted perhaps the largest encroachment on personal freedoms we might ever see. Clinton cheated on his wife, lied about it on national TV, and got away with it!
Parts of Government are corrupt, have been corrupt, and will always be corrupt. I have a hard time trusting anyone that actively campaigns to be in government.
In this case, however, if facts were presented about him not being an American citizen, us "good-hearted people" would believe them. There are no facts to support it, however, so most of us have moved on.
