I have seen many visions of future events and seen them come to pass down to the finest detail. But I don't think I'm a prophet. And I should clarify that prophesy is not all about seeing the future.
I'm guessing you're being humorous with the question, but I have to admit, I'm not sure what you mean....unless you're talking about how much the prophets got whooped on!

Thanks for explaining....I'm not always the brightest bulb in the building, you know.
I'm basing that statement on how many times I've been verbally horse-whipped!! ; )
You know, to be fair though, as long as I avoid a select few, things have become fairly civil. I was called a "holier-than-thou" by Admin earlier in this thread which was pretty awesome considering I don't follow the "code of holiness"!! ; )

Arrrggghhh.....You just inadvertently landed on one of my major pet-peeves.
Old fable.....some people walk up to a church and see the devil sitting on the front steps weeping. "What's wrong?", they asked him. "Those people in there are blaming me for everything and I had nothing to do with it."
And pet-peeve #2....when the desperate "worship leader" or preacher isn't getting the response he wants, so he plays the "Let's make the devil mad" card.

I could jump on those statements with both feet and we could argue back and forth about the how deeply the devil is involved in subverting and deceiving mankind as well as planting thoughts in our hearts (fiery darts) that we need to resist but we are getting along so well tonight, I'll save it for another day.

One of the greatest eye-opening messages I've ever heard on the subject was from the Dr. himself....Dan Segraves. I'll never forget his teaching that God is omnipresent, the devil is not. He can only be one place at one time.
I believe most of all our downfalls are the result of our fallen nature, our flesh ( James 1) which is a domino-result of the devil's work. So I have the feeling we'd agree on most everything.
But PLEASE tell me you don't like the "let's make the devil mad" garbage, otherwise, we're gonna have to step outside and duke it out!

No, I don't like the "let's make the devil mad garbage" although I know if I live right and walk with God that will make the devil mad. The devil is a created being and is God's handiwork to judge. Jude 1:9
When I say devil, I'm not speaking of THE DEVIL but any evil spirit/fallen angel. The enemy (in every sense of the word) of all mankind.

But I don't think the devil gives a rip if we raise the volume in a church service. But I think he DOES get concerned when someone comes to faith in Christ. He gets downright ticked off when the population of heaven and hell changes.
