Reid is about as dumb as a Box of Joe Bidens.
The term, "separation of church and state", typically refers to a widely repeated liberal falsehood about the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment of the United States Constitution, which actually states:
“ Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion.[1] ”

This week’s guest was Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. Question number three, Brody asked who were the greatest living Americans? Reid’s answer was Robert Byrd and Teddy Kennedy neither one is qualified to be considered the greatest living American.
|
Do you think Kennedy is alive also?
Liberals are not know for honesty and facts.

So you are saying that you agree with Angle that separation between church and state is unconstitutional?

I already posted this.
Most liberals regurgitate tired talking points.
Twispy read what the constitution says about separation of church and state.
Liberals seem to twisp the constitution or just ignore it.

The Constitution states:
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof . . ."
Sounds like separation of church and state to me. The fact that Angle can't comprehend that is disturbing.

It doesn't say that. It says they won't make a law establishing a religion.

As predicted, you repeat a liberal falshood. Thanks for proving my point on the first try.

It doesn't say "they won't make a law establishing a religion."
It says that "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion". Try not leaving out important words next time, lol.
Congress cannot make laws towards any type of religion/church, therefore religion/church is separate of state.
No one is repeating a "liberal falsehood". It is the Constitution that is being repeated. It is just worrisome that you, your unicorn and Angle has such a loose grasp of the Constitution.

Another false claim from Twispy.
The United States Code, section 5 USC 6103 declares ten national, legal, public holidays, one of which is Christmas.
So Twispy has just been shown wrong.
In fact, thanksgiving day was a day of thanks giving and prayer.
Quote:
|
George Washington, Oct. 3, 1789: Thanksgiving is a day to revere "the many signal favors of Almighty God, especially by affording them an opportunity peaceably to establish a form of government for their safety and happiness.... It is the duty of all nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey His will, to be grateful for His benefits, and humbly to implore His protection and favor."

The fact you can't comprehend it is even more disturbing. It just referes to establish or prohibit. The word "separation" is not in there. And you can't comprehend the fact that it is not in there.
You are a typical lib. distort the constitution or just ignore it.

It says that congress can not make any law in respect to any religion. If they can not, then by default church is separate of state.
I wish the admins would tell us if you were Praxeas or Pelathis. No one can be as ignorant as you are trying to be, it has got to be one of those two trolling everyone.

'And my tongue shall speak of thy righteousness and of thy praise all the day long.'"

Make it a law. close the federal offices for the day.
