Re: Fired for speaking the truth
Juan Williams is a national figure.
He is responsible for what he says and he doesn't says-- as an adult, as a national figure, and as a contributor to NPR.
His remarks justify the prejudice that many Muslims face in this country. Regardless of how he felt, his verbalizing of that blatant prejudice codifies that blatant prejudice that is harmful to the innocent Muslims and to our society.
It's like, "Juan Williams feels this way so I'm not so far off in being prejudiced against Muslims-- man everyone knows those Muslims are just so violent and ready to blow everything up. I don't want them sitting next to me either!"
Basically, Juan Williams advocated prejudice, in thought and in action, against Americans just because of their religion.
I used to like Juan Williams.
I am glad he was fired.

So your dangerous political position says that if an employee says something away from work that is not politically correct, you are glad he was fired.
You are very closed minded.
He didn't advocate prejudice at all. he just said what he "felt".

Exceedingly scary how some people think. Wow, the hypocrisy of the left is boundless, truly they know no shame.
Keep up the good work/posts Coadie!

I am EXTREMELY suspicious of "Sandie". No one in the history of AFF has ever agreed with or complimented Coadie. I think "Sandie" is "Coadie". The two names have the same number of letters and both end in "ie."
Something's fishy, here. No one thinks Coadie's posts are good!

I really enjoy Coadie's posts!
He seems to know what he's talking about more than most.

I have an old internal employee hand book. it discusses termination and other approaches to employee problems. There is not one phrase in our handbook that covers what some one says away from the job. I couldn't fire Juan. I have very rarely fired someone without at least one meeting or an opportunity to umprove.
Juan was fired overnight without a single conversation.
Watch the 6 minute clip and tell me where one of the 3 says anything that could get them fired.
The left explodes with intolerance. They have a sensitive trigger point.
I have heard of bad employee behavior on business trips. I can't touch it if it is not work related time.

I happen to agree with what I've read so far, I'm brand new here, just posted for the first time yesterday.
There are people who think Soros and the left are beyond the pale besides Coadie, I'm one of them.

Soros will give millions to hire reporters at NPR. I suspect they will be free top report what is in Soros' interest.

I can tell that I am the only person that watched the 6 minute clip. NPR sure didn't
NPR was ridiculus and immature and fired Juan because of bullying from CAIR and their threats.

Soros isn't going to stand for anything outside of his will and plans.
He's buying the media and anything else he can get his grubby hands on that will help his cause.
He's a tool of satan...what a pity all that money going to waste, he'll have some answering to do one day.
These people would have had their heads explode during WWII, PC hadn't been invented yet...thank God. It's probably why that war was done in four years.
