You are correct. You don't need to go there. You don't need to respond to my questions, either. In fact, you may need to put me on ignore (if I'm not banned in the near future!). Some people are secure enough in their beliefs that they don't mind exploring other possibilities. Some are not. That's fine.
I just think it's funny that some will say they believe the Bible, and yet they are not comfortable in drawing logical conclusions from what it actually says.
Don't mistake the Fear of the Lord for weakness or insecurity in my beliefs.

OK. So it's fear of God that makes you not want to discuss this any further? Now, is that fear, as in you're afraid of what God might do? Or fear as in respect, as in God doesn't want you to, so you won't, out of respect?
Oh, sorry. You don't have to answer. Haven't been refilled yet! (Yes, refilled. Was filled many years ago, with tongues and the whole bit. If it was the "real" thing, if there is such a thing, well, that's another story.)

Timmy, it's been real nice talking to you and you're in my prayers, but I'm done on that note son. You're treading way too close to blasphemy. Don't continue down this road of deceit and destruction!

Yeah. Some questions don't deserve answers, I understand.

Yes, God has killed babies as in the flood and in the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. Also He ordered the extermination of all when Israel went into the Promised Land. In these cases, adults were killed as a judgment. In my opinion, God was actually merciful in killing the children along with the parents. Would it have been right for Him to selectively kill the parents and leave babies and children alone to fend for themselves? Also, in my opinion, those innocent children went to Heaven.
Does this action seem severe and drastic to me? Yes. I do believe God is merciful and caring and is infinitely wiser than we are. I can wonder about some of His actions, and I may not personally think it is the best thing to do, but I don't question His intelligence and wisdom.
