I'm sure this subject has probably already been discussed on AFF. ..... “Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.”
Ecclesiastes 1:10, KJV.
But, being new on AFF let me give it a try. When I was a child many of the songs that we sang didn't come across to me like they did to the adults. For instance, we sang a song which had this line in it,
"In that city where the Lamb is the Light, In that city where there cometh no night. I have a mansion over there that is FREE FROM TOIL AND CARE, in that city where the Lamb is the Light."
Well, as a child I thought they were singing,
".....I have a mansion over there that is FREE FROM TOILET CARE, in that city where the Lamb is the Light."
Can you add any more to this? What did you hear?
