Re: Claiming Denomination

Haha...

That article was written before the days of spell checkers...I suppose. I need to learn how to spell Barabbas. That fine dignified thief would have been insulted by my leaving out one b.

Apprehended, though we are doctrinally different, I do consider you a brother. I will give you my secret. Go to archive.org, and type in the URL of your old site. The pages they stored will re-appear as they were on the date clicked. I bet ya many articles were downloaded.

I'm gonna stop here and ask you a serious question before we go on. I mentioned earlier that I'm a student of psychology and one of the sure signs that a person has very low self-esteem is the issuance of verbal put-downs in a time of adversarial communication. "Disagreements", in other words.

Almost from the beginning, you have peppered nearly ever comment you make to me and several others, with verbal insults, insinuations that a person isn't smart, can't read, that you have superior intellect.

Why is this necessary? Are you mean-spirited? Do you struggle with self-esteem as many do who strike out with intellectual insults? What's the purpose of this? I'm interested in discussing this and other issues with you, but your constant "You can't read" trash-talk is unnecessary and makes your claims of crying onto your bible at midnight and then worshipping for an hour seem like a suspicious claim, if it's that easy for you to continually throw insults.

So in short.....why? What's going on?

Yes, I did. And your point is? Is this about to be another intellectual insult?

But does HE consider you a brother? That's the big question. How 'bout it, Apprehended? Am I your brother? I do not and have not "spoken with other tongues", therefore, not fulfilling your requirements for your version of salvation. Am I your brother?

I have extreme doubt that you studied psychology.

I will gladly and humbly apologize if you will produce any worthy credentials in that department. I don't think you can.

This little boy has never had any problem psychologically...nor any trouble reading and/or comprehension either. Rest assured, for whatever it is worth...

naaah, never mind....

But, no. No psychological problems.

Now that is out of the way. Go back and answer the post answering your question for a lack of definition from you.

Look, I'm giving you ever bit of the doubt, but customarily, you clam up.

Kind of reminds me of the other thread where I asked you for your definition of "the cross alone," but you refused to do that leaving me to assume that you were talking about two board nailed together.

Then, I pressed you for your definition since you disparaged the only assumption that you left me with. You cam back with, "Oh no you don't. If I give you my interpretation of the cross, then you will use it against me. After all, I know your doctrine as well as you do."

So, "cross alone" is nothing but two boards nailed together without definitive definition from you.

Hahaha....

Would you like to revisit that thread?

More of the same. Seriously.....why is this necessary? Why do you feel the need to mock the intelligence of others? So forget all the psychology stuff. We'll just say that I've never studied psychology for a minute. Why do you need to pepper you comments with intellectual insults?

Re: Claiming Denomination

This insulting one another does not improve the discussion. But, let us also learn that we all have done such to others at times on our lives. let our conversation be seasoned with grace, both ways.
