There is no Bible record of Job's children dying during his test. We only know of a "messenger" telling Job they had been killed. (They are, in fact, very much alive at the end of the Book.)
Josephs brothers, according to the Genesis account did not sell him into Egypt. They intended to but... well, read it for yourself... Gen. 37:28 and 36.

Waiting for the Lord is easy... Waiting patiently? Not so much.

Huh? I am not seeing what you I guess.

Articles on such subjects as "The New Birth," will be accepted, whether they teach that the new birth takes place before baptism in water and Spirit, or that the new birth consists of baptism of water and Spirit. - THE PENTECOSTAL HERALD Dec. 1945
"It is doubtful if any Trinitarian Pentecostals have ever professed to believe in three gods, and Oneness Pentecostals should not claim that they do." - Daniel Segraves
Josephs brothers threw him into a pit with the intent of selling him to Egypt. A band of Midianites found him, sold him to the Ishmalites who transported him to Egypt. Ver. 36 says it was the Midianite merchantmen who actually sold him into Egypt to Pontiphar.

Wow... I'm going to have to take a look into that. That is very interesting.
Keep them coming. This is a very interesting thread. But the sunday school class went very well. I had a list of 18 questions and quotes to finish that most people get wrong or do not appear in the Bible at all.
The very last one was ... Finish this verse... "Study to shew thyself..."
And that was the text of the lesson. "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." We talked about how we pass things down from generation to generation because it is what we are told and how we need to search the scriptures for ourselves and get the truth for ourselves.
The kids were flabbergasted. One girl said "I feel cheated". LOL.. I told her... without this lesson you would have passed these same things on. That is all others have done is pass on what they have heard. But it's up to you to study to show YOURSELF approved unto God.
They were very challenged by the lesson. Thanks to all of you for making this lesson so great.
