A man who studies his tradition in light of the Bible, who is humble enough to admit his traditions are wrong, and is willing to fall in line with the teachings of scripture, is a man who has been greatly blessed of the Lord.

While we are on this subject, a lot of times it's just human error that causes misinformation. Not intentional mistakes. So we do need to be careful what we hear and say.

Yes ma'am. It is my hope that their Christian life will never be the same after today. Today they received their challenge. We are responsible for our own study and for finding God for ourselves. We can't relegate it to others.

2 of my Sunday School kids are my children. I called their names and said "I'm not a good enough source of your doctrine." There is only one good source. And that is the word of God and I think I sufficiently demonstrated to them how easy it is to get caught up in biblical hearsay.
