Democrats do math this way
if there are 10 white women who get abortions and 3 black women who get abortions, white women have more abortions.
Democrats refuse to look at other factors. in the above scenario there are a total of 100 white women in the population and there are 9 black women.
to a democrat, white women have more abortions. period. end of discussion. move along there is nothing to see here...
Where the rest of the country (that would be republicans, independents and mathematicians that hate politics) looks at ratios of population.
the fact is 10% of the white female population has abortions in my scenario. while 33% of black women have abortions. this matters to republicans independents and mathematicians that hate politics.... but not to democrats.

Now a democrat will look at these numbers and say “see I told you white people have more abortions.”

I really dont know why it matters the discussion.... this argument about who has more abortions black or white... but since it came up and I kind of like statistics, i thought I would help...

Esther, I did not say that every woman that has an abortion is raped. I said that if a woman that was raped and conceived a baby, that she should have that CHOICE, to have an abortion or to carry the baby to full term (remembering the violence of how it was conceived, and with the chance that she could die giving birth) That is her choice, not mine, or yours, but HERS. If she chooses to have an abortion, it would be nice to have it in a sterile clinic, instead of a basement.
Speaking about BIRTH CONTROL, most women take a pill every night or a pill the next morning to keep from having a baby. The abortion law was never meant for that reason, but like all benefits that helps some, there are those that abuse and misuse. I would like to see that part changed, where only the ones that were raped or the health of the mother could be legal only. But still Esther, the ones that wants an abortion will find that basement and still get the abortion whether it is legal or not, like it has been done back in the 60's.
I do vote democrat, because I believe in most of the issues of the democrats, such as...Social Security, Disability, Public Schools, Medicare, Medicaid, helping the working middle class, having insurance for all people. I would not vote republican because they are against all of these issues. So I weigh the advantages and disadvantages, and the democrats fit me best.
I do agree with the Pro-Choice group partly, but only under certain circumstances.
I agree with not having it done in back alleys and dying from it. But as a Christian "I" can't sanction something my God finds to be an abomination. You can always give the child up for adoption.
As to swaying you from being a Dem that is your choice. I was many years ago and found that their agenda is NOT what they say and find the republicans to be more like the OLD dems. Not real happy with either party right now.

There were two times in the Bible that all male babies under the age of two years old were killed, when Moses and Jesus was born. That was terrible in that day also, but God did not stop the killing of those babies either. It was meant to be for some reason.
As I stated before, I need the benefits of Social Security, and at this time being disabled, if it were not for the Social Security check that I receive, I would not be able to pay my house payment. If the republicans do away with Disability, I am afraid that the stock market will not pay for disability, and if the stock market crashes like it has in the past, then many would lose their retirement. These are the laws that the democrats gave us, and the republicans in power would try to do away with Medicare, Medicaid, Disability, Social Security, Public Schools with vouchers to private schools, etc. Sometimes we have to take the bad with the many good things. If you will read and research the democrat issues, you will find that democrats only wanted the women that were raped and had medical problems to have a CHOICE. The law is abused, and if I could have a voice to stop it I would. If I lived in the Bible days of Moses and Jesus when the babies were killed under the age of two years, I would have died trying to save all of those babies also. It hurts me to even think about it.
Republicans have NEVER ONCE suggested the disalution of disability payments. Such a thing is beyond the pale to suggest.... to everyone but democrats who say all kinds of things that are beyond the pale... like Republicans want to kill old people.
as an aside, I do know that Pentecostals can be both saved and democrats. my good friend Light is a good example. however it seems a hard thing to say you dont condone abortions yet vote for the very people who not only condone but work to get them paid for by our tax dollars.

She is, erroneously, speaking of the doing away with the voucher program and trying to pin that on the Republicans. NOT SO! That program was instituted under the Bush Administration and began to be PHASED OUT under the Obama Administration. John Boehner has, subsequently, begun a move to revive the program again.
The Republicans favor school choice. Obama ran on a platform against vouchers.
