1 Corinthians 13:8-13 Now we see through a glass darkly,but then face to face
then shall we know even as we are known.
So tongues ,prophecy,and any other gifts of the Spirit are not done away with as some say.
When the last person that needs to be edified,has been,then these gifts may cease ,right about the same time God will return and we will see him face to face , as the scripture suggests.
There will be no more knowing in part,for then will we know even as we are known(which is ,completely inside and out,by God) and no more need to prophesy in part, why would we prophesy,when God will be right there by us,we can just talk to him face to face,(no more seeing through a glass darkly)
That which is in part will be done away with,but charity will abide FOREVER PRAISE THE LORD,for God is love and this is his commandment,that we love one another, thank God!!!!
