NU spent an inordinate amount of time apologizing for his father. That was due to the fact that so many of the "radicals" were complaining about his father's "Light Doctrine" and other teachings. NU's term as GS was a time when the groundswell to obliterate the past began to emerge and NU, reacting as more of a politician than a pastor, allowed it and even made noises that encouraged it.
His most dismal moment was on the platform at GC in 1992, when he allowed a rabid radical like LW to drag a great man like JK into sin and deception. JK spent the last years of his life repenting and grieving over that one small error. It was a sad display.

I thought it was "40 years." That's what you said before. And, just what do you know of how Sister Haney felt? How do you think she felt when Ike Terry moved into her backyard and announced that HE was the "FIRST ONE TO PREACH ACT 2:38, IN THE VALLEY...?"
Didn't that mean that she and her husband and son had "failed to preach
Acts 2:38" for all of those years? That's the reputation they had amongst the Terrys/Westbergs and that ilk.
