I'm sure it is funny to you. I'll bet you're just laughing up a storm at me. What would be really great is if you all would enforce those rules in the spirit in which they were written.

Jeffrey has a telescope that he keeps out in his clubhouse for the rare nights when it's both clear AND I can overcome my fear of his being attacked by coyotes.

And now OldPaths will go back to his crowd, thumping his chest -probably using the analogy of Danial in the Lions Den or the fiery furnace as examples of his time here.

Yeah, well take a wild guess as to why they won't let you all in!! When the children of God leave Egypt, they don't ask Egypt to come with them.

Oh, ok. Well, notofworks, for one, he brags about playing worldly music in his church services. NotForSale doesn't even believe the basics of the bible like the Ark and questions the authenticity of the bible. There you go, there's two.

Yes, you want moderates and liberals to feel welcome. But you muzzle the conservatives. You may want us to feel welcome, but you won't let us speak our hearts. Everyone else gets to but we don't. Pelathas can write all he wants about the supposed evil actions of the UPC General Board and the 92 resolution, but if I recite the core values of decades worth of apostolic-pentecostal-UPC teachings, I'm punished.

You all can defend it all you like, but it is what it is. You're probably just under conviction for cutting your hair.
Since you mention me by name, I'll chime in... I actually wondered if you had me on "Ignore" since you refused to respond to anything I said or asked you. That's really the purpose of this forum - discussion. When the first predecessor of this forum first came out - (FCF) it was the very first place where a wide range of Apostolics could come together and truly ask questions.

The climate of fear and silence within our movement is something that has been commented upon by just about everyone who has looked in on "Apostolic" churches. Most come away calling it a "climate of fear." To be able to finally speak up and freely ask questions was exhilarating.

You complain that you couldn't "speak freely" yet that does not appear to be the reason why you've been scolded. You came right out and called Sister Haney a "Jezebel." That wouldn't have been tolerated even back when AFF was owned and controlled by one of your "ultra-cons." You've also "judged" people who didn't agree with you and "sent them to hell." That broke a rule that was also written by an "ultra-con."

Concerning the 1992 General Conference - I was there. I was in the business meetings and the public worship services. I heard Jesse Williams rebuke those who brought the Westberg Resolution for "telling smutty jokes." He did so in front of the entire Conference. I heard Jame Kilgore mislead the Conference by saying "99% of the General Board supported the Resolution." Brother Kilgore has said many times - publicly - that he wished he had never spoken up. He regretted that the Resolution had been so divisive and he "grieved" over his own role in its passage.

That's not "supposedly" - that's a fact. Ask anyone who was there or even ask those I have named. These are the things that they said. No judgment from me - no "sending people to hell" - just the facts.

Did either say they don't believe a person needs to repent?

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:

  1. There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
  2. The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

The question was "Repent." Does notofworks and NotForSale teach or believe that one does NOT need to REPENT?

Maybe he needs a rifle to go along with the telescope?

Do they SAY they believe in repentance? Oh, of course they do! But it's fruit that identifies a tree! Jesus said there will be people who did many things in His name but he will never have known them! Notofworks brags about playing worldly music in church, defends the gay community, brags about how much he lets go, so it doesn't really matter what he says about repentance. People can claim whatever they want, doesn't make it true.

An absolute falsehood!!! Quote where I said that or apologize!!
