He cares and came for all the sheep of Israel, not just the elite. He's here for the excluded, marginalized, left out, desolate and broken. That's creative imagery of a parable though, to extend it to absolute Universalism. (But neither do I believe hell is a literal fire pit)

Interesting point. What part of the conservative checklist was missing? Is the feeling if you don't line up with the complete checklist you "ain't one of us"?
