Yes, I understand he's an incredible musician, but this IS a singing competition and I'm telling you the screeching is getting old!
APPARENTLY America agreed.
Just sayin'.

Re: American Idol Season 10 ~ 2011
Scotty: Great as usual. Steady & slow may win this race after all! LOL!
Naima: Again, Strange. I mean really STRANGE. African one week and Jamaican the next. I just don't get it.
Paul: Love his distinct voice. I really hope he does well.
Stefano: He's got a really good voice, but I'm afraid his personality won't carry him thru.
Pia: Once again, incredible voice, but oh, so boring. She said she'd bring it, but all brought was another song that was just a step above a ballad. More lounge singing to me.
Lauren: I thought she did a great job this week. Nothing to complain about at all.
James: Another great job by our resident rocker. A bit slow in the beginning, and he spent too much time in the crowds running around. I wish he had put more of his flair on the whole song like he did at the end. That was really missing throughout.
Thia: Yes, incredible voice again, but another boring performance. Someone remind me, who is she again? Oh, yeah, that's right...another lounge singer.
Casey: Woohooo!!! He finally got the long-awaited makeover!!! He looks soooo much better now. Thank you AI!!! I liked his voice this week...he cut out a lot of his screeching and saved it for the right parts of the song. Great job!
Jacob: Not sure what to think about Jacob. I think he's a bit over-emotional, and it may hinder him more than help. He's got some control issues that he still needs to work on, but he's getting better. Love his strength.
Haley: LOVE her distinct sound! Benny & the Jets was made for her! Randy says best performance of the night and I agree, hands down.
My prediction for bottom 4: Naima, Stefano, Thia, Jacob.

There's no way...
Naima: Again, Strange. I mean really STRANGE. African one week and Jamaican the next. I just don't get it.
AGREE!
Paul: Love his distinct voice. I really hope he does well. One of my Top 3... still!
Stefano: He's got a really good voice, but I'm afraid his personality won't carry him thru. He gets robbed for his lack of personality, because it's there. And I'll tell you, speaking of slow and steady... he's a sneaky one.
Pia: Once again, incredible voice, but oh, so boring. She said she'd bring it, but all brought was another song that was just a step above a ballad. More lounge singing to me.
She's phenomenal to me. Prob best vocal talent in entire competition (next to Kendra who was cut before the Top 24 amazingly)
Lauren: I thought she did a great job this week. Nothing to complain about at all. Nothing to complain... nothing to boast. Her charm keeps her going... that, and she just avoids failing too hard.
James: Another great job by our resident rocker. A bit slow in the beginning, and he spent too much time in the crowds running around. I wish he had put more of his flair on the whole song like he did at the end. That was really missing throughout. Not sure about JD. I like that he's autistic and he's definitely exceeded my expectations, but he's just not a favorite of mine.
Thia: Yes, incredible voice again, but another boring performance. Someone remind me, who is she again? Oh, yeah, that's right...another lounge singer. 16. That's all. No, but seriously, I hope she sticks around another week just because I enjoy hearing her vocal tone. So unique.
Casey: Woohooo!!! He finally got the long-awaited makeover!!! He looks soooo much better now. Thank you AI!!! I liked his voice this week...he cut out a lot of his screeching and saved it for the right parts of the song. Great job! I loved his crazy screeching, and his semi-crooning tonight He's versatile, what can I say. Still my favorite to win.
Jacob: Not sure what to think about Jacob. I think he's a bit over-emotional, and it may hinder him more than help. He's got some control issues that he still needs to work on, but he's getting better. Love his strength. He balanced it well tonight. His over-singing may prevent him from taking it, but he'll go far... and I suspect will have a career ahead of him.
Haley: LOVE her distinct sound! Benny & the Jets was made for her! Randy says best performance of the night and I agree, hands down.
(I agree with Steven Tyler too, btw )
My prediction for bottom 4: Naima, Stefano, Thia, Jacob.
That may be an accurate bottom 4. Don't be surprised for Lauren Alaina to be the shocker this time around though (there's usually one).

He's got a great Josh Turner sound. He's not pitchy, not sloppy... I don't think he's especially phenomenal but he could be a solid country singer. Good tone.

I voted for my two favs: Haley & James.

Mrs., I disagree with your take on Naima. I think she is unique and beautiful. I predict Jacob to win it all. Haley is sexy, but lacks confidence.
