All I want to say about Idol is the ridiculous voting system..52 million votes?..that is not a true vote count,you have thousands of teenagers voting and voting and VOTING..and AT&T loves it. Should be one vote per person..LOL.. just like we vote for politicians

Ok, it actually made me cry tonight at the end! It gets so emotional at this point, and they have all become such a tight knit group now. Hard to see anyone go home!

I felt so bad for James! He was devastated. The very last shot showed him walking toward the back of the stage away from the group.

Stefano had such a great attitude.

I know! James is the one that touched me the most.

I think he knocked the breath out of Stefano when he went out to grab him at the end.

Jacob looked surprised that he was still there - - it's like he didn't know what to do. It should have been him or Scotty.

I really thought Jacob should have been out. I'm actually surprised that Scotty has lasted as long as he has with the old man country twang, but he does kind of grow on you.

Jacob: Not his strongest performance. Vocally he was off a bit a couple of times. And I was a bit bored. That could be because of the song choice. Love his runs and strength, but I don't think it was enough to keep him in the competition at this point.

Lauren: What a great job! Her voice is really fantastic. Such rich quality. She needs to keep growing. I just hope she can grow fast before being knocked out of the competition. I agree with Randy, he stated the song was safe and boring. She could have shone so much brighter with a better song choice, but hey, it's Carol King week. LOL!

Intermission: Really fun performance by Casey & Hailey! They are so great together! So fun and quirky! Would love to see them in concert together, that would be fantastic!

Scotty: Wow! He pulled it out! I'm shocked! I actually paid attention! LOL! OH, and, and, AND...he finally listened to me and only used ONE HAND on the mic! Hahahaha!!! My daughter even commented that she liked it, and she's a rocker! LOL! I liked seeing his flexibility this week. His voice is really nice and rich.

James: What an incredible voice! He's got such great control! Rich tone and quality. Great vocals. Loved seeing this side of him.

Intermission: Lauren and Scotty are so cute together! Makes ya just wanna schmoosh their little cheeks. LOL! J-Lo cracked me up with her comments making Scotty out to basically be Lauren's back-up singer. That oughta make him happy. Hahaha!

Casey: Entertaining, yes. But....It really doesn't showcase his good voice when all he's doing is just a bunch of growling. Disappointed.

Hailey: She did a great job for such a sleeper of a song. Still love her voice and would like to see her in the top 3.

Final Act: Jacob & James. Those two are a mess! They had too much fun with that and did a great job.

I just don't like this Carol King week. Too many sleeper songs. My prediction for bottom 2: Scotty & Jacob. Can't really predict a bottom 3rd. Hailey, Casey or Lauren? It's just getting too close to call at this point. Going home: Jacob.

First out of the chute,

James:

1st song: Great entertainment, but the song was so repetitous it started getting on my nerves. Even tho he did a great job, I think he's so much better than that song.

2nd song: Beautiful. They can say his voice was pitchy and off...whatevah! At the beginning of the song I was thinking it really showcased how flawless his voice actually is. He's got great control. Randy said it, the competition is his to lose. Meaning, in his mind, James has already won it and he would have to CHOOSE to lose it at this point. Love it!

Jacob:

1st song: Terrible. His vocals were off in parts. Part of it was the back-up singers, they messed up in spots. But overall it just seemed too much a strain.

2nd song: He didn't redeem himself with this song. His vocals were just off again.

Lauren:

1st song: WOW! Here's our little sleeper sneaking up on us! We wanted power and she gave it to us! GREAT job!

2nd song: Another huge WOW! That was just plain ole beautiful! Voice was flawless! Why was J-Lo's critic so short???

Scotty:

1st song: He just needs to go. Still not impressed. He is not comfortable on the stage or performing yet, and it just exaggerates it when he moves around the stage and thru the crowd. Vocally, a bit rough.

2nd song: For a country song, he did a pretty good job. But was it really anything other than a karaoke version?

Haley:

1st song: Eh. Interesting song choice. Couldn't tell if she was trying to take it country or what. According to the judges she shouldn't have sang it, it was an unknown song and risky, but at least she sang it well. Can't really criticize her voice, she sonded good.

2nd song: Now THAT'S how you take a song and make it your own! Woohoo! A standing O from the crowd and judges! She rocked the socks off that song.

Going home prediction: Please let it be Jacob! It's his time to go. He was definitely the weakest link. Scotty could go as well. The top 3 are obviously James, Lauren & Haley.
