The verses in Ezekiel and Isaiah would read more like this if written in our day and age:
"I blessed you! I gave you fine homes and nice automobiles. I filled your bank account, you were able to go on nice trips and buy fancy clothing.
But you forgot me!! You began to trust in your riches instead of trusting me! So I am going to take these things away from you. You are going to become destitute! You are going to know that you can't trust in vain riches."
He's not saying that his blessings were a sin. It was their forgetting HIM that was a sin!
