I think he's going to have some problems if he tries to run. But, being the current condition we are in, I'm like you, he could pull it off. He's very cool with his debates, so I think he would do fine against BO. I was on a conference Q&A with him a few months ago. He did very well. Answered the questions completely. Didn't try to skirt any issues.

I doubt I will vote for him in the primary as I still have TransCorridor issues... but I will vote for him if he wins the nomination.
that being said, I think Perry has a chance of turning off those very conservative independant voters that have to show for Republicans to win the election.
