Re: men and earrings..
Don't like them--unless he's a pirate or an Arabian prince.
Otherwise I agree with Sister A.

Re: men and earrings..
I personally don't like them, but I don't think there's anything wrong with them.

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
- There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
- The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
- Every sinner must repent of their sins.
- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

Unreal what people are doing to their bodies.
That's sin for you though...starts small and winds up
HUGE!

It's not gender specific. And yes, I found a picture of a small gauge vs a large gauge. I also stuck with one in the ear, vs the nostril or cheek.
Sin? Can you please show me a verse from the Bible that says not to gauge your ears? Or nostrils/cheeks?

When I was in the world I chose clothing with styles that gave attention to me. It was as though I used them for my own personal attractions, you know vain things.
As for dressing up to attend church, well I was brought up by my parents and taught that was the proper way to appear in the sanctuary of the lord. And I was taught that personal manners played a big part in how people judge you as a person.
I don't hold those things as things as things of great importance unless they are done in such a way that it becomes a carnal obsession.
I believe that people who walk in the spirit do mind the things of the spirit and they who walk in the flesh the things of the flesh.

You know good well that every sin is not spelled out in black and white or red in the Bible. Covers alot of things to be sure. God gave us sense and most of all the HolyGhost to "gauge" what we do in our lives.
Our bodies are the temple of this most precious Holyghost, so why
would I want to mutilate it in any way on purpose?

On one hand, I hear a lot of "read the Bible, if it's in there, do it/don't do it" and "The BIBLE says..." And then on this hand, you're telling me that the Bible doesn't spell out all sin so we just have to kind of know what's sin and what isn't. I hope your luck with guessing is better than mine, because mine sure isn't very good. I would hate to have to trust my luck to guess right whether or not something is sin.
