Ok I'll really mix things up!
While I acknowledge most Pentecostals receive the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in tongues, I am not at at all ready to say non tongue-speakers aren't Spirit filled. I just think the evidence shows otherwise. There are many Christians who exhibit the fruit of the Spirit, and clearly manifest Jesus in their lives. Far it be from me to cast any judgement on them, or even distinguish my experience as superior to theirs.
If this is too blunt for my Pentecostal counterparts - I'm sorry. Please don't ask me for an exegetic defense - I have none to give - I am not a theologian.
