I'd expect this from non-Christians. Christians, to be Christ like, are not supposed to be selfish.
This "man" was mad at God and wanted to see another woman..I have to wonder how old they are and how long his spouse was there for him.
But such is the state of American Christianity. They make excuses and look for loopholes.
This is the true face of what Holiness SHOULD be. Not a dress code but a heart change. Selfless. Christlike. You find this in both Standard keeping people and the so called Liberals of our day

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
Every sinner must repent of their sins.
That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.
I'd expect this from non-Christians. Christians, to be Christ like, are not supposed to be selfish.

I doubt many of the non-Christians I know, if any, would say it's ok to divorce because of Alzheimer's.

Pat Robertson has stepped over the line of spiritual sanity more times than any can count. Time to close the $700 Club and for Pat to go home, find an altar, and pray through again...

Religious broadcaster Pat Robertson told his "700 Club" viewers that divorcing a spouse with Alzheimer's is justifiable because the disease is "a kind of death."
During the portion of the show where the one-time Republican presidential candidate takes questions from viewers, Robertson was asked what advice a man should give to a friend who began seeing another woman after his wife started suffering from the incurable neurological disorder.
Citizen,
My God the dead has arisen!!! I didn't know you were still around!!!
"I know it sounds cruel, but if he's going to do something, he should divorce her and start all over again, but make sure she has custodial care and somebody looking after her," Robertson said.
The chairman of the Christian Broadcasting Network, which airs the "700 Club," said he wouldn't "put a guilt trip" on anyone who divorces a spouse who suffers from the illness, but added, "Get some ethicist besides me to give you the answer."
Most Christian denominations at least discourage divorce, citing Jesus' words in the Gospel of Mark that equate divorce and remarriage with adultery.
Terry Meeuwsen, Robertson's co-host, asked him about couples' marriage vows to take care of each other "for better or for worse" and "in sickness and in health."
"If you respect that vow, you say `til death do us part,'" Robertson said during the Tuesday broadcast. "This is a kind of death."
