Well, what an attitude!!! Trying to stir up the elder (actually, I'm older than he is) then shouting at me!!!!
I may have to go start another UR thread!!!

ALL Trinitarians are lost. Whether all of them wind up in the lake of fire is up to God. I have no faith any of them will be saved in the judgment but I am not the judge. I preach the only saving message and God does the judging. He don't do the preaching and I don't do the judging. Works for me.
I am happy for you here. I can really appreciate the benefits this approach can have on your heart and sanity. God is the Judge.
But I can't escape feeling that there is something of a disconnect here as well. If your preaching has little or no bearing upon God's judgement, then of what value is your preaching?
Personally, I want to know Him even as I am known. Now, the completion of that will require eternity; but can't I at least know whether or not if He has a plan for me in that eternity, and "where?"

I believe all who obey not Acts 2:38 are lost for eternity that is what I preach. But I am NOT the Judge and He has the right to do anything He desires at the judgment? Do I think He will pardon them who have rejected His pardon? I seriously doubt it but He is the final court of appeals and the Govenor who has the priviledge to do as he see fit.

As I asked before, and you answered "yes", does the Bible clearly spell out what will happen to the lost when they die? If the Bible clearly says they will spend eternity in the lake of fire, how can you say that God might not send them (or some of them) there, after all? To say that, you are saying that God may break His word.
I don't get it!

Timmy you are very naughty, there is no one with any kind of heart who is going to say, yep, I know your loved one is burning in hell. All we can do is find a place to stand and stand there and put our loved one in the hands of God and trust him with them.

The obvious implications of the "Acts 2:38 or Hell!" ("Water & Spirit Doctrine" or "Three Step") are startling and very uncomfortable for any real Christian to hold. This is really a cultish mindset that seeks to set up human beings as the judge instead of God. It also involves a great deal of fabrication of the historical record of the teachings of the Church through the ages.
Being a good man at heart, Steve Epley obviously is hesitant to follow these conclusions to the bitter end. He feels that he must assume a certain posture to affirm his status within his group of brethren. Having once spent a great deal of his life in another error (Branhamism). This may make him feel compelled to assert his "Three Stepper 'Orthodoxy'" with great zeal than he might otherwise.
He's a good guy. I for one, should perhaps should let up on him a bit. It's just those "Go To Hell!" type of judgments do push my buttons.
Have a great and happy time at church tomorrow, Steve AND Timmy!

Why not? A lot of people (preachers and others) talk about what will happen if you don't get saved. Now, suddenly, when someone dies unsaved, it's "Oh, well, we don't really know what happened to her. That's up to God."?
(She wasn't really unsaved, by the way. She was an Assembly of God Trinitarian believer. But we could talk about other loved ones who die without any kind of salvation.)

honestly Timmy, I tell myself the same thing. I have Grandparents who died staunch Catholics.
I trust them to God's hands. I try to understand the bible to the best of my ability, knowing that I could be mistaken about what I believe and was taught.
At times I feel angry towards God, he could have created a world and a salvation that resulted in everyone making it to heaven.
I feel like God screwed up.
But what is the point of making accusations against God when he could just crush me like a worm?
It's his world, his plan, all I can do is go along with the program and make the best of it.
There are times of great joy, and victory and peace. For me there are more times of darkness, sorrow, depression, and questions.
Sometimes I feel like Saul, he missed God and he would call David to come and play and sing to him to drive the doubt, depression and sadness away.
When I enter the house of the Lord, the choir and preaching are the ministry of David to my soul.
