Re: General Conference 2011 Kentucky
It has been many years since LS has been scheduled to minister. I always enjoy his ministry as well.

Re: General Conference 2011 Kentucky
Just got some sermon quotes from Anthony Mangun:
-Knowledge without an alter = nothing.
-Revival begins at the alter. We need bigger alters to change our world.
-When the rapture takes place, prayer and fasting will stop , but worship will never stop.
-If we ever become a church of technology we are in trouble, Gods house is a house of prayer.

In fact I think that the insinuation of "hateful" Pentecostals is coming mostly from the fertile imaginations of bitter, backslidden ex Apostolics who are constantly trying to find a way to justify their actions. ~ strait shooter

I'd love to hear a little deeper thought on that one. Other than that, good stuff...

maybe he means wowing people with technology, production, and programs, versus the simplicity of the cross and a good old fashioned prayer meeting. I don't know just guessing

Probably so. Technology is good, and I think God would bless and honor a body of believers with such if priorities are in order...

Re: General Conference 2011 Kentucky
Essentially the message is: "Technology is good, however do not rely on it to grow your church and save souls. Good old fashion prayer is the only way that will happen."
When my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves...
