Re: Priests & Holy Places

Hebrews 6 also speaks of us following Jesus BEHIND THE VEIL.
Heb 6:19-20 KJV Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil; (20) Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
This is what Hebrews 4 was speaking about in referring to entering THE REST. The mercySEAT is a place of SEATING because the WORK IS OVER.
Heb 10:11-13 KJV And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: (12) But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; (13) From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.
I once preached a message, PLEASE REMAIN SEATED SO GOD CAN BRING DOWN YOUR ENEMIES.

We are seated with Him. And seating indicates the work is done. THE SON WAS TOLD TO BE SEATED until the Father makes His enemies His footstool.
Psa 110:1 KJV A Psalm of David. The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

Eph 2:6 KJV And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

Jesus as SON sits patiently KNOWING the enemies will be made his footstool. he is confident. he is seated. He knows the work is done. We need that same assurance. REMAIN SEATED knowing the work is done and we need not scurry around in a frenzy worried about our enemies like something more need sot be done BY OUR FLESH.
