Most of them can speak English fairly well, but you have to listen closely as the accent is pretty strong. But they all speak Filipinio (Tagalog) and most then speak Cebuyan (sp) in this part, as well as their tribal dialect. I speak none of the above!
A lot of the Filipino national language is much like Spanish though.
