Re: Loudness In Churches.

3 posts in a row of my own...but I'll try and be quiet after this one.

I'll certainly agree that there is a point where the music etc is too loud. But I'll also say this. We can also reach a place where are too complacent and we are used to just sitting down and "being served" in song and word.

We can get used to a service that is low key and reserved and we rarely see a move of God rather than commonly see such a move. A lot of churches can go years without tongues & interpretation, prophesy etc coming forth.

It can, indeed, go both ways and in both areas there can be people who are too excuberant or others who are too judgmental.

But, as I always heard growing up, "Don't worry about wildfire too much as there are always plenty of wet blankets around to help put it out"
