Also, I noticed that Mark Dever is now conspicuously absent from the speakers list for Session 2. He used to be on the list, but no longer. T. D. Jakes is still in the lineup.

Am I missing something here? TD Jakes is going to debate Trins over the Godhead? That would be AWESOME! It would cause him to gain a bit of respect in my opinion.
He'll do no such thing because TD Jakes is a compromiser and deceiver. He'll talk around the issue and Marky Mark ain't gonna have that this time.
Those who have ever tried to 'make it big' in the arenas where Trinitarians are predominate eventually compromise on essential doctrines. Dottie and Buck Rambo, Joel and Labreeska Hemphill, the McKeethans, Tommy Tenney, and many others have traveled that road.

I am an Apostolic Pentecostal. Apostolic in teaching, and Pentecostal in experience.
I am Trinitarian, and my limited contact with OP has been more negative toward me than the other way around. There are OP ministers I would have minister in my pulpit (I am not pastoring right not), I have bought materials from Freddy Clark, and would attend OP meetings, but I wonder how many OP ministers would allow me to minister healing in their pulpits? I know some would, but I think there are wrong attitudes on both sides. I am a young minister, and I KNOW there is a lot I can learn from older, wiser OP ministers. In fact, I want to! If they can flow in the Spirit to see people's needs met, I'm not to proud to turn to them for counsel.
I have come to the point in my life that I not longer care whether Trinitarians accept me or not, I preach Jesus and let them keep saying that I am a cultist.
I made a decision a while ago that I would not longer debate trinitarians, I consider it a waste of time and I just don't have the time to waste.
I will keep on preaching the oneness message to those who want to hear it and know about it, but I have closed the curtains on getting into arguments about itwith stubborn and obstinate trinitarians.

For a lot of OPs it's not a matter of not wanting to let you minister, it's an organizational "rule" or peer pressure (Not wanting grief from other ministers
__________________ Let it be understood that Apostolic Friends Forum is an Apostolic Forum.
Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
Every sinner must repent of their sins.
That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.
I have preached in both "Trinitarian" & "Oneness" Churches for 39 years and have never been in any kind of argument about the Godhead in either movement. I have baptized more people in the Name of Jesus Christ in "Trinity" Churches - including Pastors & their families, than I have in "Oneness" Churches. The argument is old and this younger generation wants to fellowship around what they can agree on and not about what their preacher or mom & dad argued about.
I for one am tired of it too. Why don't we just demonstrate what the Apostles did and stop all this condemning of people that do not do it OUR way? I have yet to find two "Apostolic" Pastors that believe exactly alike or say the exact same thing when they baptize and then some want to send everyone else to hell because they do not do it like they do it. It is senseless.
When I get a call to come minister - The thought never enters my mind - Are you Oneness or Trinitarian! I just go to minister - I don't care who it is! The more I travel internationally the less all the BOXES people are in matters anyway! I have preached in Buddhist Temples, Hindu Shrines, Rastafarian Gatherings, Unification Church Conferences, Cult leaders mansions, tiny store fronts, 60,000 seat African Mega Churches and many other places and I really do not care what the name is or what their doctrine is - I go and preach The Revelation of the One True & Living God and preach JESUS CHRIST TO THEM and then pray for the sick & afflicted and see God work Miracles. Why is what THEIR doctrine or believe system so important to you guys?
Our concern should not be what THEY believe - it should be the REVELATION & WORD GOD gives US!
Coming in a little late on this but you are right on bishop. If they agree on the basics, they find something to split hairs and even fellowship over. i.e. wine vs. grape juice. Hair up vs hair down. Makes you wonder if it isn't a spirit unto itself. I know what is coming from an UC on this. "Agreeing on the basic message is what is important". Baloney! If that where the case, you would have more folks in your pulpits instead of the "select" group you want.
And it didn't start in 93 or over TV a few years ago. Been that way all along.
So, during one of the sessions of the next Elephant Room, they apparently are going to talk about the majors and minors of Christian doctrine (ie, Trinitarian and Oneness theology). Discussion between Driscoll and Jakes, moderated by MacDonald.
