That He might be shown loving and gracious to all who call upon Him; even to those whom He knows will make themselves His enemies.
Remember, there are tares among the wheat. Though God freely gives the Holy Ghost to all who have faith and ask, even those He knows will betray Him...their falling away manifests who are the children of God and who never truly were.
Thus...even in this...God is glorified.
