However, now we approach through faith in Jesus and our love of God (law of Christ).

So... how should a Christian keep the Sabbath according to the Law of God (Ten Commandments)?
Exodus 20:8-11 (ESV)
8 “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days you shall labor, and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God. On it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, your male servant, or your female servant, or your livestock, or the sojourner who is within your gates. 11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.
-We must REMEMBER the Sabbath day.
-We must make it holy, a time to worship.
-We must rest from working.
-The entire family is to participate.

That's all that God's Law commands regarding the Sabbath. The laws about fire in your dwelling, not traveling, issues about picking up sticks, etc., etc., were part of that handwriting of ordinances that was nailed to the cross. Just remember, rest, worship, family. That's all.

You can gather with the saints and worship. Then go on a nature walk or go fishing. You can have family Bible study. Lounge around the pool with a devotional. That's Sabbath keeping NT style.

P.S.
Minimal work to sustain one's self isn't condemned. The disciples picked corn on the Sabbath. The Sabbath isn't a burden... it's a DELIGHT.

Thanks for your responce,i believe that the weekly sabbath day in the OT was a foreshadow of our rest in GOD,and JESUS brought that rest when HE came and fulfilled the law and prophets. But like i said before we should remember the sabbath day as GOD has said, but we do not keep it the way they did in the OT,because the spiritual rest had not come yet. That is why the Apostles did not teach on how to keep the sabbath in the NT because they knew their rest was in the Holy Ghost. That is why i ask if you could show how to keep it in the NT.(because there is no instructions of how to keep it in the NT.)I know that there was a Law of moses and there is a Law of GOD and there is a differents, and it was the Law of moses that was nailed to the tree (abolished). If they were to keep the sabbath in the NT the same way that they kept it in the OT, then the Apostles would have taught the gentiles that were born again how to keep it the way that they did in the OT.But now we are to keep it the way GOD intended all along ,by the inward man. Here are the verses that back up what i am saying.

Heb.3-18,1918)And to whom sware HE that they should not enter into HIS rest, but to them that believed not?
(19)So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.
Heb.4-1thru113)For we which have believed do enter into rest,As i have sworn in my wrath,if they shall enter into My rest:although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
(10)For he that is enetred into HIS rest,he also has ceased from his own works,as GOD did from HIS.
(11)Let us labour therefore to enter into THAT REST,lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

Here He is not talking about the weekly sabbath day rest, because they kept that rest, but here GOD is talking about a rest they could not enter in,because of their unbelief, but here He is talking about the Spiritual rest that GOD wanted to give to HIS people all along. And JESUS brought that rest.

Matt.11-28,2928)Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
(29)Take my yoke upon you,and learn of me;for i am meek and lowly in heart:and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

So yes i do believe that we should remember the sabbath day in respect and honor to GOD's creation, and i do know that the sabbath is a delight. But we keep the sabbath now by the inward man,by the New Covenant

Heb.8-6thru1010)For this is the covenant that i will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the LORD;I will put my Laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts:and i will be to them a GOD ,and they shall be to me a people.
Rom.7-22:For i delight in the Law of GOD after the inward man:

As for worshipping GOD on the sabbath,we should worship GOD every day.
But i do not judge others on the way they keep the sabbath day,or even what day they keep. But i keep it the way GOD wanted us to keep it all along by the spirit.

Rom.14-5,65)One man esteemeth one day above another, another eseemeth every day alike. Let evey man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
(6)He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the LORD;and he that regardeth not the day,to the LORD he doeth not regard it.
