You seem to believe that because the main character is some times unhappy and upset as he goes along killing and destroying countless lives this show gives us a picture of the wages or his sin... REALLY? Or maybe it's that he got the snot kicked out of him once or twice that makes you believe that he has experienced some kind of justice. Where exactly do you see the wages?
My son tells me that season four ends with an ever prospering Walter who has now killed the head of the cartel and is positioned to take over the drug trade in a major way. How do you think THAT shows the wages of sin?...
Have you seen the primary characters die and go to hell? Ummm.... no. Instead he prospers financially and is portrayed as a dweeb turned macho street thug, something that a significant portion of our youth aspire to at least on some level.
There are still actors getting it on on the screen (see my post above). And while YOU do not think it glamorizes drug use you are not a druggie or an ex-addict (I presume). It does indeed give credence to the lifestyle for those who are or have been involved (speaking from experience here). If you don't think that the scene of doing a speedball and getting super high is attractive to someone you are out of touch. If even one person who saw the very detailed scene of IV drug use is now be brave enough to try it because of the show it has wrought destruction well beyond it's worth.
And honestly this is just a horror that does not need to be brought into our homes. I can promise that there will now be more than one person who uses hydrochloric acid to disintegrate a body or manufactures deadly poison from flowers, is that worth being entertained? You do realize that those things are technically correct?
This is my brother the meth cooks favorite show... so if you like it that much you share something in common with a psychopath. Not something I am want to be able to say. I ran screaming from that life and would never pipe it in to my peaceful home.
And I just have to ask as cornball as you will think it sounds... but if Jesus were in the room with you is this a show you would invite him to watch?... because really He is in the room.
