It actually sounds a bit like Dante's Inferno which openly condemned very prominent and famous men (some of whom were still living at the time) to Hell. I would not doubt that this could be a similar occurance. If you have ever read the Inferno, you will recognize the parts that I am speaking of. I do not know whether or not this ladies dream was real, or if she was actually using a fictional account to bring the reality home.
