Re: Repentance
People can't repent of each sin because they will never recognize things in proper perspective as sin. Or never remember all of them, or call something sin that is not. The truth is Jesus made one sacrifice once and forever in regard to all sin, and his forgiveness is once and forever. The problem is people can't forgive themselves much less accept that fact that Jesus has forgiven them all their trespasses and see them in a different way then they see themselves.
Repentance should be turning away from the way we chose to be in those times and allowing ourselves to be something for what ever time frame in light of who we really are. It is the truth within us [ nature spiritually ] which acknowledges a behavior that is totally against who we are. Repentance will be in every believers life as long as they are on this earth. It's making a right decision after one acknowledges they have made a wrong decision or act.
