There is a reason if it often called The Body of Christ.
There is much truth to that statement. Sadly the current concept of 'soul winning' seems to draw heavily upon the flimsy 'sinner's prayer' method. I do not mean that our people are using only the sinner's prayer, but that they use that method to 'assign souls' to people who 'won them to God'. I do not believe that this should be done even in the church.

Houston, I am essentially describing the process where so many preachers seem to encourage people to bring others in and see them prayed through. The problem is that not everyone has the same gifts, and so you have a few that bring many people to church, while many will struggle to bring a few.
